Push notification for new tweet with keywords and from people I'm following

Hi,

I'm trying to set up a flow that will notify me of a new tweet that meets the following 2 criteria:

1. from someone I'm following on my Twitter account

2. contains a specific keyword, for example 'announc' (deliberately truncated so as to capture annouce or announced or announcing etc.)

I'm new to MS Flow and set up a new flow which I linked to my Twitter account and to my iPhone Flow app, and thought all was well as I immediately got some results. Unfortunately they appear to be from random Twitter users; criteria 1 is being missed (which I thought would be automatic given I've linked to my Twitter account).

Can anyone suggest what I've done wrong and how to get this working?

Also, regarding criteria 2, will 'announc' work as desired? And if I want to add another keyword, do I just use OR between keywords?

Thanks

    Hi @_Adrian,

Could you please share a screenshot of your flow's configuration?

    I have made a test on my side and please take a try with the following workaround;

    • Add a "When a new tweet is posted" trigger. Within Search Text field, type your specific keyword.
    • Add a "Get my following" action.
    • Add a Variables->"Initialize variable" action, Name set to FollowingArray, Type set to Array and Value set to empty.
    • Add a "Apply to each" action, input parameter set to output of "Get my following" action.
    • Within "Apply to each", add a "Append to array variable" action, Name choose FollowingArray and Value set to Name dynamic content of "Get my following" action.
    • Under "Apply to each" action, add a Condition, left input box set to FollowingArray variable, right input box set to Tweeted by dynamic content of the trigger. Within middle drop down, choose contains.
    • Within "If/yes" branch of Condition, add a "Send me an email notification" action.

    Best regards,

    Kris

    hi @v-xida-msft

I'm trying to achieve the same result as Adrian. I want to receive email notifications whenever any of my followers post a tweet that contains certain keywords. Here's my screenshot

Could you kindly help to assist this matter?
