I need to update 2 columns in Sharepoint List 1 from items in 2 columns in Sharepoint List 2.

For example if John Doe's 'address' in Sharepoint List 2 is not blank then update John Doe's 'address' in Sharepoint List 1.
My flow currently runs, however, is not updating John Doe's address. It is updating someone else's address.
I'm not sure what I've done incorrectly.

I'm assuming in the screenshot that the SharePoint update actions are to update List 2 using information entered in List 1. If that is true then the problem is the use of ID to select the record to update. The dynamic content ID would be for the record in List 1 when you create the item. But the corresponding item in List 2 won't have the same ID. So unless you have a different field that ties the two items together you would need to do something like a Get Items action on List 2 based on the persons name to get the ID of the item in List 2 that needs to be updated. The Get items will return an array of records. If should be an array of only one record, but you'll need to use First() to retrieve the record to get the id.

You are correct, the flow was updating the item based on the record #.
Name or email address appears in both lists and would tie the 2 together.
where in the flow do I use the 'Get Item'

How do I find the correct item in List 1 in order to update the fields I need updated?

You'll need to use Get items, not Get item. Get item requires that you know the id number of the record you want in list 2. You don't know that. So you need to do a Get Items on List 2 and filter it by something that is unique to the record you want. Where you have the Get item would be fine.
