How to filter string seperated by comma with multiselect combobox value

Hi all,

I have gallery which I am filtering based on multiple dates and combobox values.

One of the column I need to filter is Servicr Type which has comma seperated values. I have to get the record if any of the values in Service Type is equal to any of the selected item in combobox.

Service Type column used have only single value before so I added filter condition like this:

Service Type in ForAll(combobox. SelectedItems, Name)

How can I modify this expression when I have multiple value with comma seperated in Service Type column.

Thank you.

    Hi @Anonymous ,

I've tried replicating my side, here are my steps.

I have a combo box called 'cmbItems', I've selected 4 random items:

I've a gallery listing out all items:

I've updated the Items property of the gallery with the following formula, which joins the Combo Box selections together to then use as the basis:

    Filter(
     colItems,
     Value in Concat(
     cmbItems.SelectedItems,
     Value1 & ","
     )
    )

    The result:

Not sure if that's exactly what you're after, do let me know 😊

Hi @cdwhite . Thank you for the reply.

What do you have in "Value" variable in your filter?

I don't think this is what I am trying to do.

    Let me explain my scenario.

I have gallery with multiple columns in a tabular format. And my column Service Type has values like below.

    DateService TypeLast Name
    20/10/2023Item1, Item4, Item6Name
    20/10/2023Item2Name
    20/10/2023Item3, Item5, Item7Name

And My Combobox is connected to one of the tables in Dataverse, and the value selected will be like below:

    My Combobox

    Item4  Item2

    Expected Result:

    DateService TypeLast Name
    20/10/2023Item1, Item4, Item6Name
    20/10/2023Item2Name

To give you more context, I have 3 tables.

    Table: JOIN

    Service IDRequest ID
    Service 1Request 1
    Service 2Request 1
    Service 3Request 2
    Service 2Request 2
    Service 5Request 3

      Table: Service

    Service IDService Name
    Service 1Item 1
    Service 2Item 2
    Service 3Item 3
    Service 2Item 4
    Service 5Item 5

    Table: Request

    Request IDName
    Request 1 1
    Request 2 2
    Request 3 3

I am using Join table as the source to my Gallery. I am grouping the records with same request Id in the Join table and concatenating the values present in Service Id.Service Name with comma separation.  So, the Service Type is a column I added using AddColumns which concats the Service Name from Service table for the same Request ID. I followed this thread Solved: Combine multiple rows into a single row based on a... - Power Platform Community (microsoft.com)  to achieve this.

Now I want to know how to filter this column with the combo box selected values.

    Thank you.
