Fonts in Powerapps for Ipad different to web app

Hi there

We have developed a canvas app and have set all fonts to the same font, however when the app is run on powerapps for IPad, some of the fonts are displayed as Times New Roman instead.

This seems to occur for multiple control types such as buttons, labels, text inputs, radio buttons, etc.

The app is functional however the mixed fonts do not give a good professional look!

Any help appreciated.

thanks

Gary

    Hi @GaryGoodwin,

This is a common issue that many Power Apps developers face, and there are a few possible reasons and solutions for it. Here are some of the web search results that I found for your query:

Responsive Layout and Fonts: This result shows how you can use the Switch function and the Parent.Size property to change the font size of your controls based on the screen size of the device. This way, you can make your app more responsive and consistent across different devices.

Recommended Font: This result explains how some fonts are displayed as a completely different font when running the app on a mobile device compared to when editing the app on a web browser. This is because some fonts are not available or compatible with the mobile device or the web browser. You can try to change the font style, font size, font weight and other properties related to the font appearance within your device or browser settings, or use a different font that is more compatible.

Using proprietary custom fonts: This result describes how you can use custom fonts in your Power Apps by simply typing the name of the font in the Text property of a label. However, you can only use fonts that are available on your computer and are also compatible with your web browser. If the font is not available or compatible, it will default to a generic font.

How To Use Custom Fonts In Power Apps: This result provides a list of fonts that are currently available in Power Apps studio, and how to change the font of a label using the dropdown menu in the home tab. It also shows how to use the Google Fonts API to add more fonts to your Power Apps, but this requires some coding and may not work on all devices or browsers.

    Thanks,
