I have a gallery on my app which I want to be filtered to only show those candidates that are marked as true or blank on a VIAble column within my SP list. What do I need to input into the items property of my gallery to only show those that are marked as true or as a blank on that column? The user will never need to see those marked as false.
Hi @kat7777777
The condition VIAble = true || IsBlank(VIAble) filters the records where the VIAble column is either true or blank. The || operator represents the logical OR condition. This ensures that only the records marked as true or blank in the VIAble column will be displayed in the gallery.
Make sure to update the 'VIAble' in the formula with the actual column name in your SharePoint list.
Filter( 'MDMA Suppliers', 'VIAble' = true || IsBlank('VIAble') )

This is what I currently have input: Filter([@'Journey Resumes'], Or(IsBlank(Dropdown_Major.Selected),Major2=Dropdown_Major.Selected.Value))
I have a drop down as well for my gallery to select the different majors for different candidates. I tried placing that code into the current that I have and received an error message. Any tips?
Could you provide more context about the error message you received? This will help me better understand the issue
It said " = true || IsBlank isn't recognized"
What is the data type of your VIAble column ?
It is a choice column on a SharePoint list. It only has
two choices which are true or false.
@kat7777777 Try this
Filter( 'MDMA Suppliers', 'VIAble'.Value in true || IsBlank('VIAble'.Value))
(Or)
Filter( 'MDMA Suppliers', 'VIAble'.Value in true || IsBlank('VIAble'))
Thanks!
It is still giving me an error message that says "Invalid number of arguments, received 1 expected 2 or more." Any suggestions?
This is what I have currently. The first part is where the error is.
I think in your given formula you missed comma in-between data source and column, so consider adding the comma. And try this formula.
Filter([@Journey Resumes], 'VIAble'.Value = true || IsBlank('VIAble'.Value), Or (IsBlank(Dropdown_Major_1.Selected), Major2 = Dropdown_Major_1.Selected.Value))
