Hi,

Have a Canvas Power App that has a Container that becomes visible off a tab. That container has a gallery that pulls data from a sharepoint list based on the id of the main screen.

Filter(Reminders,RefID = varQuoteDetail.ID)

There is also a flow that fires depending on some parameters that will then write new records to the above gallery/sharepoint list.

My question is what is the best and most economical approach to "refresh" the data inside the container?

I only need the new record that relates to the parent id. Would only be a couple of records at most.

According to your description, you are using the "Filter(Reminders,RefID = varQuoteDetail.ID)" in your gallery to get the items . And your data source will make some data changes in the background.

[1]If your flow doesn't trigger in Power Apps, then we can't get when your flow triggered in Power Apps, you can try using Timer Control to get the latest data from the data source at regular intervals.

You could create a Timer with the following properties to Refresh the collection every 2 mins.

Autostart: true

AtTimerEnd: ClearCollect(colCollection, Filter(Reminders,RefID = varQuoteDetail.ID))

Duration: 120000

Repeat: true

Visible: flase

And then you can put the "colCollection" in your [gallery-Items] property.

[2]If your flow trigger in Power Apps, you can add the Refresh() function after your trigger your flow.

ClearCollect(colCollection, Filter(Reminders,RefID = varQuoteDetail.ID))

You can add a delay after triggering the flow and refetching the data to prevent errors from occurring.
