I am trying to update my List in SharePoint, which is used to display training courses in date order. This entails updating the list on a weekly basis, deleting and adding new items. As you cannot insert a new item anywhere in the list, only a the bottom of the list, it makes it difficult to add new courses into the date order.
Is there a way I can use Excel (which has the changed / original data of all the training courses), and then add / import that data into the SharePoint list, so it overwrites what is already there rather than having to do it manually?
So therefore the list can be updated easily on a weekly basis (either by deleting existing data and then adding new list items, or by adding new list items)
Would like to hear from anyone who can help
