Hi,

I have a powerapps customized form that successfully patches to a choice type column, called series name, when a user selects options from a combo box (separate control). However, if the user saves the form without making any changes to the series name field, although they make changes to other fields in the form, the sharepoint series name column is cleared out.

The defaultitems property in the series name field is set to Parent.Default. What should I change this property to in order to keep from clearing the column when no changes are made to it?

I'm happy to share any additional information to better describe/show my problem.
