Hi,
I realise historically this has been the case, but is it still only possible to select one file at a time when selecting images through the "Add Picture" control.
Is there anything else that can be leveraged to select multiple images/files from a device rather than doing this induvidually?

Perhaps you can look into leveraging the Attachments Control for your use case: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/maker/canvas-apps/controls/control-attachments
I fully agree with @BCBuizer's recommendation. I once had a similar issue I had to tackle and decided to use the attachment control as well - you are able to 'steal it' from the Form component.
