Hello, does anybody know how to keep a steady e-mail address to receive the reports in a PowerApps shared and used by different people?

Hi @Cappellb87 ,

I didn't understand which Report and where is it called?

If you are talking about Canvas PowerApps then you can use "User().Email" to get current Logged-in User's email.

If you need static email then you have to hard-code in the App itself to use it.

If you are talking about Power BI Reports then when you subscribe a user to the Report and schedule the Report then it will send the Report to the User in its mailbox.

Hi Ethan,

In Canvas powerapps...the idea is to have all the printed reports sent to the user (already added/coded), but also a central e-mail to store all the reports. Not sure if this is doable, but decided to ask.

Hi @Cappellb87 ,

You can insert another static email to the Reports.

If you are using Power Automate to send Reports, there too you can use static email. Also, if needed you can store reports in a SP or OneDrive.

Thanks! Do you have an example of coding for the report storage that you mentioned, @Ethan_R? This is also something I would like to do as a next step.

And the e-mail I will try then to add a common user.

Hi @Cappellb87 ,

Can you tell me which Report is this?

If you are talking about Power BI report, then you can generate them using Power Automate and store into SP or dataverse.

Also, you can trigger Flow from the PowerApps as well or you can scehdule.

Apart from this, if a user is added to subscribed list in Power BI then when the Report runs it will send Report to the user to its mailbox. You can automate the mailbox activity as well and pull attachment and store into SP.
