Hi, 
 
I have a solution where users are filling out a declaration form, the status of the form = Active. 11 months and 2 weeks later a workflow runs and changes the status from active to inactive. An email is sent to the user and they are advised they need to fill out a new declaration form. 
 
My issue is sending the reminder emails for users that do not fill out the form within a 2 week period. A reminder email should go out on day 14, 7, 6, 5, 4,3 , 2,1. The reminder email should not send if the user has submitted a new form.
 
How do I get the workflow to look for form that is active?

    What database are you using--are these users or forms saved in Dataverse or saved in SharePoint?  Also, are each of the reminder emails using the same template, or are they different?

    In either case, there are multiple ways to handle things like this.  

    One way is to have a daily flow check for users who are due a reminder email.  You can do this with an Odata filter or FetchXML filter.  You might even be able to construct a good enough filter that would only pull a list of users who are in your acceptable ages (14days, 7days, etc.).  That flow can either send the emails from an action in a ForEach loop (perhaps using a condition to check the days difference between now and the submission of the form), or trigger a child flow for each user due an email.  

    You should also have some process in place to update the "last form submisison date" for each user when they submit the form.

    Hope that makes sense.

    Thanks Mark, it is a Power App linked to a SharePoint list. I am using Get Items which is a daily scheduled workflow. It finds the date that is 7 days from now (if a 7 day reminder) 
     
    I understand that by putting FormStatus=Inactive is not the right approach but it is there at the moment to just keep reminding the person in case they haven't actioned. Of course this is frustrating to users that have filled out a new form.
