Parent.Default not working

I have a combobox that keeps showing up blank when I edit an entry, while all the others show up. It shows up in my detail screen:

When I click edit it shows up blank:

My defaultselecteditems are [Parent.Default]

and my items are this collection "UnitCollection", which when I edit an entry and look in the collection the value I want is there. I can't figure out why it shows up blank?

What is your data source? SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL etc

Could you share the code you're using to generate that collection? (in text please)

What is the data type for "Ultrafab Unit #" in your data source? Is it Single Line Text?

Hey Amik,

The data source is a sharepoint list. Here is the code for my collection:

ClearCollect(UnitCollection,Sort(Distinct(Filter('Ultrafab Unit List', UltrafabUnit <> "", Location = ComboBox2.Selected.Value),UltrafabUnit), Value, SortOrder.Ascending))

This is in the onchange of the combobox, "location" above it in the picture I showed earlier.

have u tried ThisItem.Columnname?

replace columnname with the column you want to reference
