So both combo boxes are tied to ThisItem? You're going to want to remove the default selected if you want it to reset as a reset will just use default values. Or update that selected record using a variable like you said you tried. Guess need a bit more information about the comboboxes and how they currently are tied to data if they are cause reset should work fine, unless you have default items in there. If you have form's these are in, then you can use things like If(Form1.Mode = FromMode.Edit,ThisItem.column) to only use default when it's in edit more, or something along those lines.
