Still a newbie.   With help on here now have nice dropdown filtered to show correct items but now need to take that selected value into Flow and use in my output.

Tried this - ReqButton.Run(SharePointIntegration.SelectedListItemID);(Dropdown5.Selected.Name);RequestHide() and the help shows the correct value from the dropdown choice but I dont know how to access this in my flow. (flow attached)

    @Taylope1

    You've already assigned the 'Ask In PowerApps' to the ID of a Get Item step.  So you can access this value by going to Dynamic Content and choosing ID under 'Get Item'.  You don't need to write anything in advanced mode here.

    Hi @Taylope1 ,

    Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?

    Do you want to access the selected Dropdown value within your flow?

    Which type column in your SP List does the Dropdown control bind to? Choice type column or Text type column?

    Based on the needs that you mentioned, I think you have some misunderstanding with the data transfer between the PowerApps app and Power Automate flow.

    If you want to pass value from your canvas app to your flow, you need to define these parameters you want to pass from app within your flow using "Ask in PowerApps" dynamic content firstly.

    According to the screenshot that you mentioned, I think you have specified Item ID parameter you want to pass from your canvas app within your flow using "Ask in PowerApps" dynamic content, right?

    If above is true, you just need to specify a proper SP List Item ID value within the argument of the ReqButton.Run() function in your app. When this behavior property is fired within your canvas app, the ReqButton.Run() function would pass the typed List Item ID value (SharePointIntegration.SelectedListItemID) to your flow.

    Within your flow, if you want to get the selected Dropdown box in your app within the "Compose" action, I think you could reference the Dynamic Content values directly from above "Get item" action within your "Compose" action.

    Note: You do not need to define a parameter in your flow for the selected value in your Dropdown box using "Ask in PowerApps" dynamic content. Instead, you could reference the corresponding saved Dropdown value from above "Get item" action directly (Because, the selected Dropdown value is saved into your SP List already when you click "Submit" button in your custom form app).

    Best regards,
