Make form not visible if variable is blank

Hi,

I am wondering if it is possible to make a form not visible if the variable (POVar in my case) is empty or blank.

I am trying to use If(POVar=Blank(),true,false)

What am I missing?

Basically I have 3 different forms, one on top of the other and based on the onselect property of a button I want to load a specific form, which I have working. But there is some situations whereby the form will overlay on top of another so I'd like to add some more code to ensure this cant happen should my variable be blank.

Thanks in advance all!

    Hi there @lg270492 ,

    If you have 3 forms, and I suppose you want to show only one at a time, you could use only one text variable where you would set it to "Form1", "Form2" and "Form3" and use that variable to show only the Form you want.

    Example: in the Visible property of the Form1

    POVar = "Form1"

    If you want to use you formula anyway, try to use the following:

    If(IsBlank(POVar),true,false)

    Still doesn't work? Please give us some more info, like where you set the value of the variable.

    Screen1 OnVisible

    Set(myMultiDimVis,0)

    Form1 Visible

    myMultiDimVis = 1

    Form2 Visible

    myMultiDimVis = 2

    Form3 Visible

    myMultiDimVis = 3

    Button OnSelect

    Set(myMultiDimVis,1)
    //to make Form1 visible, use 1 above
    //to make Form2 visible, use 2 above
    //to make Form3 visible, use 3 above

    //to make no form visible, use 0 above

    Note in many "traditional programming languages", == means  equal to, and = means to set a value.

    However, Power Apps is not a "traditional programming language", so = has the same meaning as == in most programming languages.

    One specific example though of where = means to compare the left side with the right side is Visual Basic so this is where it's most similar, it's also one equal sign in Visual Basic just like it is in Power Apps Canvas App. It is not intended to say that Visual Basic is similar to Power Apps - just that in this specific regard with the single equal sign = operator meaning to compare the left side with the right side, there is some similarity, with regard to this specific aspect in particular, between  Visual Basic and Power Apps Canvas App's language (Power Fx)

    See if it helps.
