how to create a checksheet phone app

I've been tasked with deterimining if we can use PowerApps to allow our technicians to fill out our maintenance checksheet on their phone and upload it to our ticketing system (freshdesk)

Here's an example of our checksheet:

Capture.JPG

So basically we have this checksheet for each client onsite maintenance we do. The technician would go through and checkoff what's applicable and then we need a way to attach a picture of it, or pdf, or whatever to the client's corresponding freshdesk ticket.

Is PowerApps the right tool for this task? Can it do it easily? Thank you for your help!

    Hi

    Yes, definitely possible.

However, as we are using Mobile and due to screen limitations, we will have to modify the entry method:

    Example:

    - Create a Namelist for all of them, so that you can use DropDown(DS, Location) to select who to visit to perform the Preventive Maintenance, say the first one, Karen.

    - After selection of Karen,

there will be another created table, called MaintenanceCheckPoints, where it will be shown in a Gallery (infinity), with TextInputs, with 2 CheckBoxes - one for OK (Check) and NG (Cross).

    - Then, use Patch (means Save TableMaintenance) + ForALL - to save all the results of maintenance into the final table.

Your Maintenance Checksheet shall appear as in Created Table (Say TableMaintenance), such as:

Date                    Location   Modify/ClearA AVG Alerts     Team Viewer Working   CC Cleaner Task   ............................

    24/3/2017            Karen       OK                                         OK                                 NG

    24/3/2017            Barry        OK                                         NG                                 OK

    ...

    ...

    ...

    Hope this helps.

NB: you can different orientation of your table. I am only suggesting.

    Conclusion:

You will have to basically, create

    - TableLocation

    - TableMaintenance

Hi hpkeong, thanks for the reply!

To add another element to this, we would need the ability to change the checksheet items based on customer, as some are doctors with specific software that needs to be checked by our technicians.

In addition to that we would need a checklist for our windows clients and a checklist for our mac clients

Would it be possible to have it associate a specific blank checksheet once we select a specific customer?

And finally, would you be willing to be hired by our company to create these checksheets for us? How much would you charge? Thank you

    Hi

    Thanks.

Yes, you can have Database for different kind of checksheet ready or

    add/edit at anytime you wish.

    - it means create checksheet dunamically.

If you plan to work together on this, yes, it is possibel as long as the Database is soemthing familiar to me, like

    Excel or CDS.

Please private message for further discussion.

TQ and have a nice day.

Do you have an example of how the patch will look for the final table?

I have a gallery with drop downs, and I'm having trouble patching the data to a new table.

    Configuration:

Gallery = references a table with three columns, contains a row for each client

Dropdown = I inserted a drop down into the gallery, the drop down is applied to each client

I want to patch this to a table titled MealTime. How can I patch each dropw down value and client name to the final table, i.e. Meal Time? Any help is appreciated.
