Flow - Page isn't responding on new Designer

I have created a flow in the new designer and a few version further I have the problem that the flow isn't loading anymore in the new designer.

After ±3-5 seconds the screen freezes and I get the pop up that the page isn't responding.

If I open the flow in the old designer I can still do some stuff and edit a few things.

Unfortunately I have used some perks of the new designer wich means I can't edit a big portion of my flow in the old designer.

I have tried:

- Save As

- Copy

- Tried to open the flow in the new designer => Version history => select an older (working) version
But the page gets frozen before I have the option 'Restore'

If I go to my executed flows (Run history) I have the same problem, all flows before 27/06/2024 04:01 PM are vieweable while the newest flow all freeze.

    Hi @yonie ,

If you open make.powerautomate.com in InPrivate, will the issue happen again? I think this is more likely a browser issue. Maybe you can try and clear browser cache (for all time) first.

    Best regards,

    Hi v-jefferni,

    Thank you for your reply.

Unfortunately I tried to open the flow in multiple browsers (Edge, Chrome and Firefox) as wel as incognito mode on Edge.

I cleared my cache a few times on Edge but without result.

My colleague who never opened the flow before tried on her computer but had the same problem.

    Hi @yonie ,

You can switch to classic designer by changing the url in the end from v3=true to false as the workaround:

There may be something wrong in your flow, such as too many actions, you can raise a ticket on Power Platform Admin Center Help & Support page and figure out what happened exactly when opening the edit screen of this flow.

    Best regards,

I fixed the problem with doing the following steps:

    1. Export my solution
    2. Unzip the solution
    3. Open the power automate flow as json
    4. Compare the version that doesn't freeze with the version that freezes (in old designer)
    5. Remove the parts that where I think the error was located.
    6. Pack the files in a new zip file
    7. Import the zip as solution
