Attachments uploading to the SharePoint site with different extensions.

Hello community!

I have strange problem with attachments in PA. I've created some connection witch canvas app and SharePoint site and P want to send multi attachments to the column on my site on SP but when I chose multi attachments for example with extensions .pdf, .docx, txt, etc. it only upload one with PDF extension. Also when I put two pdf files it will upload them without problems... So my question is how I can get solution with such think?

@Anonymous ,

Are you saying you have managed to upload two attachments at once (by selecting two files in the pop-up file choose box from the Add Attachment in an Attachment Control)? This should not be possible as you can only add one at a time (I just tested it here).

Hello @WarrenBelz thank You for your time,

I can not upload to Sharepoint any other attachment than with .PDF format... also I can not upload more than one at the same time. My target is to upload multiple attachments 2/3 or 4 at the same time to the Sharepoint site (I have created list with columns which contains particular data including attachments in one of this columns.) with different extension not only with .PDF format. If I want to upload other format than PDF It want upload any files...

As I mentioned, the Attachment control does not allow more than one attachment to be uploaded concurrently. You can of course do more than that directly in SharePoint.

Your original screen shot showed a docx and a txt file, so were they uploaded from Power Apps or SharePoint?

I assume this is a new attachment control you have created? If so there is not reason it will only allow PDF - there is code to do this, but you would have to apply it.

@WarrenBelz this SS shows before upload (loaded) and after upload to SP site. As You can see, before I've loaded docx txt and pdf. after upload i get only pdf uploaded to the sp site.

@WarrenBelz SS shows uploaded files from Power Apps to SharePoint first part on the top is before saving and second is after saving item to the SP. So I don't know what is an issue there.

I did not see these as two screen shots - so are you saying it will only save PDFs? I assume all of these files are under the MaxAttachmentSize (normally 10mb)

if so, that is not expected behavior as any type of file can be saved.

I assume you created this control and have not modified it - if so try creating a new one as something is clearly wrong with this one.

This SS is glued to each other. Anyway I've check this issue with default form on SharePoint List and I've got this kind of error: 0x8007000D It is I think SharePoint error. It is like SP is blocking other extensions of uploading files. Is there any setting on SP list to change it? I've tried to do the same situation on other list on the same page SP and it worked. But on one List (my default) I can not do this.

Does anybody know how to resolve it?

The fact it works on other lists (as it should) strongly suggests something is wrong with your SharePoint list (you may have a corruption in it) and this is not a Power Apps issue. Try exporting the list as a Template including data, then adding it back in. If all else fails, you can export all the data to Excel and then re-import.
