Unable to include a map in canvas app

I would like to build a canvas app that includes a map. However, there is no option 'Map' when I click on 'Media'. What do I need to do to make sure I can include a map?

You need an Image control and then use either Bing Maps or Google Maps.

Just adding to what @WarrenBelz said, this is one example I built where I used the Bing Maps connector as a data source then BingMaps.GetMapV2...

This requires the administrator to enable geospatial features for the environment.
