I have created a Dataflow and added it to an unmanaged solution. After this I have exported the solution as "managed" and imported it into my STAGING environment. The Dataflow transforms a file on SharePoint and subsequently loads the result into a custom table in Dataverse.
Note: since I have another managed solution that maintains the data model, I have not added the custom table to my "dataflow solution" (I am not sure if it would make any difference).
However - I am having some issues with configuring the connection in the dataflow post-deployment.
Since deployments of Dataflows are not supported using service principals, I am doing the import manually, but to configure the connection of the Dataflow after deployment I need to edit it - causing an unmanaged layer in my STAGING environment.
Is this by design? Is there a way to configure the connection of the Dataflow without creating unmanged layers?
Thanks,
Jesper 🙏😊
