SharePoint List Edit based on user and Column Value

Hi all,

my requirement is:
I have a SharePoint List with tasks and responsibilities for different Groups.

I only want specific people from one Group to edit their "own" tasks and responsibilities.

What i tried so far:

But i have this weird problem:

For example i want to edit a Operations Tasks and i am in the Operations group . First Time i click edit the form is on viewform when i press cancel and edit again it works. But now if i go to "Qualität" and i am not in the group, the first time i click on edit i can edit it. If i press cancel and edit again its on viewform and how it should be.

Do you have any onselect in another part of the app that might overwrite your if statements posted?

@StretchFredrik No, nothing else. Just the plain Form if you change from SharePoint wiht Powerapps. I Just Change the "OnEdit" part. Nothing in OnStart or StartScreen either

According to your if statements, if one of the IFs are true, i will have edit rights on all objects.

Im struggling to understand the full picture here, what exactly opens when you open the app for the first time?

Hi @crevan,
You can use SharePointIntegration.Selected.OperationTasks.Value instead of using DataCardValue1.Selected.Value
Assuming OperationTasks is your column name which has Datacardvalue1 control

You are correct with the if statements. If one is true i the form should be in EditMode else in ViewMode
If i click on Edit on SharePoint in my List and the statement is true it looks like this, the Form is in EditMode:
But if i go to a column where the statement is false. The First Time i click on edit it looks like this. The FormMode is on Edit and not on View:
Now if i click Cancel and Edit again everything is correct and FormMode is on View:

I still don't have a solution. Is there anoother way to solve this item based permission based on person and column value?
