To Do -> Planner: New Task and if bucket name doesn't exist, new bucket.

Hi,

I tried to make a flow where I use Microsoft To-Do as my main app, with everything linked to Planner/Outlook etc.

So the flow I want creates a Planner task from a new To-Do task. So far so good. But the Body text in my To-Do task has the name of the customer. And so I want Planner to create a new bucket with that name. That works as well.

But then my problem occurs. If I add another task, with the same body text (as in customer) I want that task added to the bucket that already exists. So I added a "List buckets" and "condition": "If value Name is equal to Body Text (to-do)". And that works, but it works on every occasion. So when my flow finds 3 buckets that don't have the same name and one that does, he creates 3 new buckets AND adds a task to the bucket that was already there.

Does anyone know what I can do?

Kind regards,

Dennis van Gulik

Okay, I fixed it with adding the condition that the task needs to be important in To-Do. So then Power Automate recognises that the task needs a new bucket.

Well it isn't a solution necessarily, it is just a workaround, but there is no button for 'accept as workaround' LOL. If someone has a definitive solution I would like to hear that too.
