The dropdown does not display items in the published app, although it works correctly in the development environment.

Hi all,

 

I created an application to capture the profiles of our staff in Power Apps. I have encountered an issue.

 

The dropdown does not display items in the published app, although it works correctly in the development environment.

 

This is in the development environment

I experienced this issue with all dropdowns.

 

Can anyone please help me with this issue?

    Sounds like this could be user permissions. Do the users of the published app have access to the data source?

    All the users have full access to the data source.

    Update the data source. Sometimes that helps. 

    What is the Data source?

    You mean by refreshing the data source right, I tried but it didn't work. Btw, the data source is a share point list.

    Try to publish another version and see if you still have the same problem.

    Yup, I tried a couple of times, and it didn't work. Now I have another issue: the items displayed do not accurately reflect what I entered into my data source.

    Sometimes Sharepoint Lists are corupted and you have to recreate them. Apparently this is supposed to be a bug. Some time ago i had the same issue...

    Can you please take a screenshot of the Items property of the combo box control.
