How to automatically create an Outlook Event when an e-Mail is moved to a specific folder

Hi,
I would like to create an automation that automatically creates an event in my calendar when i move an e-Mail to a specific folder in my Mailbox. Basically I want the event always be the same duration and on the same day of the week, no matter when I received the E-Mail, so i can can rearrange it later so it fits in my timetable.
Example: When an e-Mail gets into my Mailbox, for which I will need time to work on when I have time on my schedule, on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. I want to move it to a specific folder so the automation starts which creates an event on Sunday (of the same week) at 8:00 a.m. with the duration of 30 minutes, so I can rearrange it to a slot where I have time to work on it.

I tried to create an automation myself, but unfortunately I don't have any experience with Power Automation, and couldn't get it running.
I would be grateful when someone could help me with this issue and I'm looking forward to your ideas/solutions.

How to automatically create an Outlook Event when an e-Mail is moved to a specific folder
    Hi there,
So, the complex part from this will be finding the next Tuesday (or whatever day of the week you want).  Here's a rough sketch of what the flow could be:

    • Trigger is Office 365 Outlook - When a new email arrives (be sure to point this to your target subfolder).
    • Add a Compose action so you have space to find the next Tuesday.  Here is an article on what that expression could look like.  If you haven't worked with expressions before, don't freak out :).  It just takes a little bit of time (just like anything new) and you'll get the hang of it...until then, copy/paste/edit is totally acceptable.
    • Next would be the action to create an event in Office 365 Outlook.  You'll set the duration and status to whatever you want, and then for the start date, you can use the output from your Compose action above.
    • Keep in mind that dates in Power Automate/Power Apps are usually stored and working in UTC, so you may need to convert to your local timezone.  You'll know that's needed when it creates the event, but it's on the wrong day/time.
Hope that helps, keep us posted.
    Good luck!
