How to rename msg files with metadata(sender, time, title) when it uploaded on SharePoint or OneDrive?

Is it possible with Power Automate?

    Hi there,

    Yes. You can use the "When a file is created" option - SharePoint or OneDrive. Then, the "Get File Metadata", then send an HTTP request.

    I could write it all out but no sense in duplicating what's already been blogged - so here's a link:

    Thank you for your answer.

    However, on PowerAutomate, I could not find a way to extract metadata such as Sender, Title, and Time-received of the msg file.

    Could you explain it in more detail?

    You would want to set up a Power Automate workflow that gets the email as it comes in, extra the information, and THEN load it into SharePoint or OneDrive.

    With an action like "When a new email arrives", you get access to a ton:

    Are you trying to do this on .msg files that are already saved somewhere?

    @Rhiassuring

    Thank you for the answer.

    To be more specific, I would like to select and upload only certain emails to SharePoint/OneDrive, and rename them.

    So I think "When a file is created" is right approach, as you mentioned before, but I coudn't find out the way to extract metadata of msg file such as - Sender, Received Time, Subject.
