While creating a new button, the OnSelect property is not engaged. Hence, I cannot enter a new formula in the space that has "false" as default. What condition is needed to enable the formula field in the OnSelect property?

I appreciate your prompt response. I am a new PowerApps developer so I am experimenting with Gallery and EditForm capabilities. In brief, I am trying to edit a button using OnSelect with the formula: EditForm(form1)
However, the formula field is disabled not allowing me to enter anything. I have performed this same task in another PowerApp experiment so I cannot detect the condition that disabled access to the formula field. Is this explanation helpful?
