I have few fields form a sharepoint list that are rich text content and I want to use the rich text editor in my app. Is there any way to make the filed using it in the app?
What are you struggling with to do so? I think you can just place rich text editor instead of text area and it should be fine.

In the form, unlock the data card and insert Rich Text Editor control from the menu.

@rsaikrishna @summitb Last week I was editing a few things in the app and for one of the text fields I found an option to moved it to rich text editor without adding or replacing anything. Now I cannot find from where I did it 😄
haven't tested it but if you set multiple lines of text as rich text you shall be able to get rich text by default.

@summitb Already done. I have even created new column in the SP in order to test it, but no luck. I even tried to revers engineer how I did the other one but again no clue at all. This is the reason I have asked here.
In your existing app, if you select the control which is allowing you RichText, you will know whether you have used normal Text Input or Rich Text Editor.
These two controls are entirely two different controls and flipping a property will not change them from one to another.
Please check it and let us know your findings.
@rsaikrishna Currently is a multiline text in the power app. In the SP is enhanced rich text. In the app I cannot switch it to rte. Due to this the formating options are missing
