Move File or Folder based on Column Yes/No

Hello,

I have a Sharepoint Site with 5 Document Libraries, the issue that im trying to solve is for a specific Document Library, what i mean... When a user uploads a file or a folder in the specific Document Library there is a Column named "Completed" that have as a type the "Yes/No" option that user can select by default the file the value is set to "No"

What i want to do with a Recurrence flow is once the user selects the Completed column value Yes to automatically move the file or folder to another Document library that belongs to the same Sharepoint Site.

I have tried doing this the past few days with no success. Can anyone provide any help to solve this?

Thanks

    Hi @Zelos ,

Please try the following configuration. Use IsFolder to check if the item is a folder and the value of Completed is Yes.

    Hi @Zelos ,

Please fill the correct site address in Site address field.

I suggest that you could select site from the dropdown list.

Re: Move File or Folder based on Column Yes/No

    Hi @Zelos ,

This is the expected result. When using the Get files action to get all files and folders, each file and folder is treated as an item, and subfolders are also treated as an item.

Apply to each will traverse all items. When using Move folder to move a folder, it will move a folder and the subfolders it contains to the specified location.

So when Apply to each traverses the subfolders under this folder before, in fact these subfolders have been moved to the specified location when the parent folder has been moved, so we cannot find these subfolders in the original Library. But these subfolders have actually been moved to the expected location.

    Hope that makes sense.

Although Flow reports an error, it has actually completed its work. If you want to avoid this situation, please do not use Move folder. Use Move file directly to move a single file, some unnecessary errors may occur when moving the folder.

    Best Regards,
