Hi,

I am new to PowerApps and have a SharePointIntegration custom form (Form.Mode.New) where the same form will be use for new and edit items/records. My goal is, when the user click on the "Save" button:

1. If it's new item/record, PowerApps will submit the form and then show a 'creation success' screen with the "ID" that was just submitted

Else

2. If it's an existing item/record, PowerApps will allow updates and then show a separate 'update notification' screen.

Is this doable? If yes, can you provide the syntax. Thank you.

@Ali_SZ_365 - Received your solution via email but not sure why it's not showing in this site. I will paste your messages (in blue) it in with my further assistance needed (in red😞

    On your form’s OnVisible property, add: Set(isNewItem, SharePointForm1.Mode = FormMode.New) - done.

For the form’s OnSuccess property, use:  If( isNewItem, Navigate(CreationSuccessScreen, Fade, { LastID: SharePointForm1.LastSubmit.ID }), Navigate(UpdateNotificationScreen, Fade) ) - done but with error message of - Name isn't valid. 'Fade' doesn't recognized.

On CreationSuccessScreen, display the new item ID in a label with: "Success! New item ID: " & LastID On the ‘Save’ button’s OnSelect property, place: SubmitForm(SharePointForm1) - i only displayed a new label with ""Success! New Request ID: "&LastID - following that, I am not clear where I can find "On the 'Save' button's OnSelect property, place: SubmitForm(SharePointForm1). I suspect you are asking me to create a button in the SuccessScreen. However, since I am using the SharePointIntegration, the top of the form will automatically have the "Save, Cancel, Copy Link" option already, which will be confusing to the user which to button to choose (and what if they choose cancel?)

Remember to switch out SharePointForm1, CreationSuccessScreen, and UpdateNotificationScreen with your actual control and screen names.
