Is the AI Builder on the dev tenant free?

Hi all,

just a short question about licensing.

I´m using a Dev tenant to play a little bit around and if I use the AI function(Business Card Reader) in Powerapps, I´ve got following error:

"No capacity available, please check with your administrator"

I´m aware that the AI Builder causes cost, just want to know if this is true for the dev tenant as well.

    Hello Chriss,

     

    AI Builder requires capacity allocated to the environment for every environment type (including dev environments) if you are using non preview components and models such as Business Card Reader.

    You can acquire AI Builder capacity or just activate your trial license to use premium components of AI Builder.

    thanks for your superfast feedback.

     

    The documentation says, that the trial license can be extended. Do you know how long and how often I can extend those trial version?
