License PowerApp per User and Power Automate per User - Creating and Running Apps with Dataverse

Hello together,

I´m a little bit confused concerning the license / plans of Microsoft. I created tables in Dataverse and use these table in a Canvas app and in a model-driven-app.

In my admin center I can see the plans per user for power automate and for power apps per user - both are exactly the same. It stated that I´m able to create and run a canvas app and/or model driven app using CDS (Dataverse)

Can someone explain the difference between these two plans to me.

I would assume that a power automate license will be sufficient to create and run apps with Dataverse.

That licensing page does not look correct to me. A number of things don't look correct including they are still talking Common Data Service vs Dataverse, mention PowerApps in one word vs two words as it is now referenced, mentions only two databases which is no longer accurate either, you can create as many as you have space for (minimum of 1 GB required for each).

Power Automate per user licensing gives you the ability to create cloud flows that can access premium connectors, see this page for details on what is included with Power Automate Per User. I wouldn't utilize this table as something that tells you what you have access to, please refer to (https://powerautomate.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/).

Power Apps Per User is what allows you to create and run applications that connect to premium connectors (like Dataverse). This per user license provides access to unlimited applications vs the Power Apps Per App license which provides access to 1 App or Portal. thanks for your reply - I already assumed that; but I´m wondering - these details I got from my admin portal where I purchase my license.
So normally I would say - this is the basis for decision what license to choose.
I made a business case gathering all costs and brought it to a decision by my management. And here I stated that having the power automate license per User Plan is sufficient to run the app.
Now I have to go back to my management and tell them that we need a Power Apps per User or per App Plan.
I´m a little bit upset.
Finally - the information is from my Microsoft Admin Portal - not a website of someone which might be outdated.
Please can you check your admin center - do you see the same information/details?

I see the same comparison chart with the information that does not look accurate. I am going to notify Microsoft on this to help the understand what is shown and this inaccurate information (that I know of).

You might want to open a case as well with them on this.
