Converting PowerPoint slide to JPG

Hi all - new to PA & am looking to integrate this with some Power BI stuff.

Is it possible to convert 1 PowerPoint slide into JPG?

I have SharePoint folder with 20 PowerPoint files, each with 1 slide. I want to convert each into a JPG - then will save those new JPG files in a separate place.

I know how to do everything else except converting. Is this possible?

    Hi @Anonymous

Never tried PPT but there is a OneDrive Convert File action and it can convert PPT to JPG https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/onedrive/developer/rest-api/api/driveitem_get_content_format?view=odsp-graph-online#format-options

You would convert the file and then save the file content as follows:

Would I be able to do this in SharePoint? Or do I have to move everything to OneDrive now?

    OR

Do update/when modified the folder in SharePoint to my OneDrive, then convert the files there, then bring them back into SharePoint location of my choosing? Or is this just too messy?

    Hi @Anonymous

A bit of both - but you have the right idea.  The file has to be on OneDrive to do the conversion, but when you create the file, you can use the SharePoint Create File action, as it just needs the file content.

    Hi @DamoBird365

Is that possible to crop the particular area in the converted image?
