Power Automate Update List from Form submission

I am very new to this so please forgive me if this is something simple or has been asked before.

I have created a list that displays users that are being invited to an event along with some basic information for each person. I have created a form that asks if the user will be attending an event or not. I want to create an automated flow that updates the list to show when the individual user has submitted the form OR to update with whether or not they will be attending.

Is this possible?

    Hi @KelseyVisc ,

If you want to automatically create an item in the list when a user submits a form, including the details of the form, please see my reference.

    In my scenario:

    My MS Form:

Hello @v-yetonggu-msft. Thank you for your response. To clarify, will this flow update an existing item that is already on the List?

    Hi @KelseyVisc ,

I see what you mean, please check out this test.

In Get items, I'm using Title (the column where I store my name) eq 'Name' to filter out the information of people who already exist in the list, if length(outputs('Get_items')?[' body/value']) is greater than 0, it proves that the person has been created in the list, if it is equal to 0, it proves that the person's record does not exist, and a new record is created.

    length(outputs('Get_items')?['body/value'])

Note: When you are in a Filter Query, remember to filter with the name of the column in your list.

    Best Regards,

    Sunshine Gu
