Template Validation Fails on Non Terminated String Interploation

I have a typform trigger that I want to have send an email response. One questionin the typeform survey asks for a user's email address, yet the send email action triggers this save error:

The template validation failed: 'The template action 'Send_an_email' at line '1' and column '161499' is not valid: "The template language expression '@{triggerBody()?['4: What email can we use to confirm this order once it's placed?']}' is not valid: the string interpolation segment starting at position '0' is not terminated. Make sure that every '@{' is followed by its '}'.".'.

Hi WiggityZwiggity,

Could you show me how is your flow configured?

I assume that you are creating a flow to send an email when a Typform response is submitted.
I run the flow for several times, it just works fine on my side.

Could you please check if the Typform connection is properly connected?

The connection works, If I setup other actions (create sharepoint list item as an example, it occassionally will work without issue. I still receive that with the following setup:

When I hit save I receive that error above.

Hi WiggityZwiggity,

I just found that the Trigger “Typeform – When a response is submitted” on my side is different with yours.

On my side, there is no option for Frequency. A screenshot likes below:

If convenience, could you provide your location and the URL of your Flow for a further investigation?

Here is the URL of the Form.. I was using logic apps in Azure vs Flow with that screenshot, but I recreated the same issue in Flow:

Thanks for sharing the flow screenshot with me.

It seems that the Dynamic content you selected in the To field cannot be validated.

I create a similar flow with you, while when saving the flow, I don’t get the error message.

Please try to enter a specific Email Address to see if you could save the flow successfully.

I will take a further investigation on this issue and back to you once I have any updates.

So I have figured out what this is. The question included an apostrphe, and I noticed that all questions that included apostrophes throw this error when doing anything with their dynamic content.

i.e. the question being generated was "What's your email address" which resulted in that failure but if changed to "What is your email address" it worked. I assume this is a bug,

Thanks for investigating on this issue and sharing the result with me.

According to your description, I add a question includes apostrophes. Then when saving the flow, I got the same result with you.

I will involve someone who is familiar with this issue to take a further investigation into it. I will back to you once I got any updates.

Hi @WiggityZwiggity Thanks for reporting this issue. To unblock yourselves can you pleaes remove the quotes and special characters from the typeform fields ? I have reported this to the concerned team as a bug.
