Unable to update the status column from in-progress to approved state .

I am a novice in developing the apps and learning this baby steps by help of vast helpful video and blogs .Thanks to all power trainer .

Here is my Question-

Requirement: I have a SP list where I am fetching set of details using power automate . In that status field column is there with 'status = In-progress' and I want to show that as an application where other person (the approver) can open the form details and on clicking approve button status field should change to Approved .

How can I achieve that . I am sure somewhere I am doing wrong in the 'patch function' and even tried 'update if' function.

I assume you want to change the status of the column on click of button.
UpdateIf(FormName,ID,{Status:"Approved"})

yes on clicking the button I want to change the status to Approved or Reject . how can I get the ID as you mentioned in the code ?

I have tried using the default also getting the attached error , Fyi, I am creating this app using SP list-->Integrate -->Power app-->Create app optionThe function updateif has some invaild arguments Request to any power user who can help me out here

Hi @Powerquery ,

Seems your Status column is a Text column, if yes, I would suggest you to use Patch function to do this update, so try this formula:
(you need to replace with your listname and Gallery name)

Patch(listname,BrowseGallery1.Selected,{Status:"Approved"})
