Question about Common Data Service (current environment) in Dynamics (When a record is selected) and current user

Dear community,

I am building a flow which is triggered from Dynamics (model driven app) from the Flow menu. To achieve this, I am using an Instant Flow with Trigger "When a record is selected". This flow is available for all users in our Organization, thus anybody can trigger it. The Flow updates another record in CDS.

  • When I use "Update Record (current environment)" the Modified By field is always my User, because I am the owner of the Flow.
  • When I use "Update Record" the Modified By field is always the User who triggered the flow.

My question is: why does the "current environment" connector not respect the current user?

I have the same question (0)
