Filter a gallery based on a different list

I have a Gallery called AccommodationGallery. This contains data from my Accommodation list which stores accommodation information. For example: [1, The Microsoft Hotel, PowerApps Street, 1234 5678].

I want to filter this gallery based on another list called Accommodation Categories. This list stores the accommodation ID and a single category for that accommodation as they can have multiple categories. For example: [1, Budget], [1, Metro], [1, Pets].

How can I filter the Accommodation gallery based on one or more selected category types?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi @L0n35,

Could you please tell me that if the ID column is the sharing column between the two lists?

Do you have a dropdown control like Combo Box to display categories?

If so, I think you could set the Items property of the AccommodationGallery as below:

    Filter(Accommodation,Projects in Filter(AccommodationCategories,Category in ComboBox4_1.SelectedItems.Result).Project)

Note that I set the Combo Box items property using the Distinct() function.
