Receiving "Getting your data ..." message on 2 new Power App forms

We just created 2 new Power App online forms accessing data from  SharePoint. When we first run both, we are receiving the message "Getting your data ...", so it never even gets to the main screen. We have built many other forms and never have seen this message.

Here are a few troubleshooting steps that might help resolve the issue:

    - Check the Form Initialization: Make sure you’re calling NewForm() before navigating to the screen with the form. For example, if you have a button to create a new record, the OnSelect property should be set to NewForm(yourForm); Navigate(yourScreen)1.
    - Formula Sequencing: Ensure you perform operations before navigating to another screen. Initialize the form before trying to navigate to the other screen1.
    - Data Source Refresh: Sometimes, adding a function to refresh the data source before calling NewForm() can help. For example: Refresh(DataSource); NewForm(Form); Navigate(ScreenView, ScreenTransition.Fade)2.
Check the ‘OnSuccess’ Property: If you’re copying forms, make sure the OnSuccess property is set correctly. It should include ResetForm(CreateItemForm) and RequestHide() to reset the form after submission2.
Modify the ‘Items’ Property: If the issue persists, try modifying your form's ‘Items’ property to ensure it correctly points to the data source.
Recreate the Form: If none of the above solutions work, consider deleting the custom form in SharePoint List Settings and recreating it as a last resort.
Remember to save and publish your app after making these changes to test if the issue is resolved. If the problem continues, you might want to check the Power Apps forums for more specific advice or consider contacting Microsoft support for assistance.

    Hi @Greg27 ,

The "Getting your data ..." message indicates that you have not setup the Item property of an Edit form. Please double check in the two forms.

    Best regards,

I probably should have mentioned that we haven't created a new form in a while. We figured out the problem was that we hadn't published it. Once we published the app, everything worked as it was supposed to.
