LOOKUP Function in text fields randomly change on SharePoint Form Submit

Hello

I have 3 look up columns in my powerapp that are using the value of a dropdown field to get additional information.

Everything seems to work fine, however randomly when a user changes a value (usually a Status) and submits, it changes these lookup values, even though the value of the dropdown has not changed.

I hope that makes sense

Here is the code for my lookup fields

LookUp('Assigned Users',Leadname=Dropdown3.SelectedText,Name)

It almost seems like the Dropdown is resetting to the first value in the list, the Lookup is grabbing that value, changing the text field, then the dropdown picks up the correct information.

Then when the user submits the form, it saves the wrong values (the first selection in the list).

This is very hard to recreate 😞

Also this is a customized SharePoint form, not a Canvas app.

I have the same problem as well. Lookup function returns the first value from the list even if the conditions in the Lookup do not match.

Hello
I not able to fix the issue, however I did find a workaround.
I created a Save button if the user actually made changes to the Form and expected updated information.
I then created a Submit button that uses PATCH to update the status field.
This way even if the look up field is incorrect, it is not updated during the submit process.
