In the form of my app, one of the filds extracts plain text from users where they can paste URLs sometime. I want to extract those URLs and place it in a seperate column in my database. I have the data sitting in MS sql server database and using "Patch" function to get the data. Any idea how to do it in PowerApps.

If the data is stored as string, then I think there is no easy way to extract the URL from the Text.
There is no auto recognition for URLs within Text in PowerApps, so if URL string need to be seperated from the whole text string, then the proper way is to take use of find(), left, right and the other functions to seperate it out.
This requires the URL end with some special character. For example, &, $, or #.
