Hi all,

Is it possible to grey out or remove time slots that are already been used - on a form in power apps?

So the scenario:

the form is going to be simple, containing a name field (free type), time and date fields.

So if I was filling out this app my name is Joe Bloggs, I have selected the time slot of 11:00am and the date 11th august. The next person filling it out cant choose the same time on the same date.

Is this something that can be achieved?

Hi @AB1 ,
You can use the DisplayMode of the control and base it on a condition.
In its simplest form, on the control itself
If( !IsBlank(YourControlName), DisplayMode.Disabled, DisplayMode.Edit )
but this would disable it the moment something was entered. You however might want to base it off another condition that would indicate someone had completed the line.

So would this for set on the time field and the date field? Of the form that I have inputted into power apps?

what would my control name be? my email?

Sorry about the questions im stil a novice!

Hi @AB1 ,
A Control is an input field such as a Date Picker, Text Input, Combo Box etc. You use the actual name of that control in place of ControlName below. Text boxes are
ControlName.Text
Date Pickers are
ControName.SelectedDate
Drop-Down/ ComboBoxes
ControlName.Selected.xxxx
where xxxx depends on the Items property of the control.
When you type ControlName.Selected. (note second dot), valid values will come up underneath. For some guidance of what they mean: -
If your Items are Choices(ListName.FieldName) - a Choices or Lookup field), the reference will be ControlName.Selected.Value
If they are Distinct( . . . .), it will be ControlName.Selected.Result
The other option is when they are based on a field value in a list (other than Distinct), then it will be ControlName.Selected.FieldName (actual field name)
