Pull a list of all contacts from Office 365 Outlook

Is it possible to use power apps to retrieve and pull a list of all contacts in our Office 365 Outlook Contacts list? Every search refers to Office 365 Users but nothing turns up for outlook contacts. Just curious if it is possible to build an app around our office 365 contacts. Thanks!

Yes, you will need to utilize the Office 365 Outlook connector and then you can utilize the Get Contacts action on that connector.

I hope this is helpful for you.

Thanks @RandyHayes . Is there any sort of youtube video that shows how to do this? Each time I click on connectors and select the office 365 outlook connector, nothing happens. I can see a message that says "this environment has no entities". What might I be doing wrong? Thanks!

You will not be able to see it directly like that, but you then can use it in formulas.

For example, put a Gallery on the Screen and set the Items property to the following:

       Office365Outlook.ContactGetItemsV2("Contacts").value

Put a Label control in the Gallery and set the Text property to ThisItem.displayName

You will now see a list of all of your contact names.

Thank you very much @RandyHayes for helping me get started!! I did what you outlined but I am probably missing something else. See my screenshot for the result I received.

Did you actually add the connector?  You need to click on the Connectors and see if it is added.  If not, then add it.

Hey @RandyHayes , can you look at my screencast and tell me if I am on the right track?

The vid is 5.14 GB so look at it on my Google Drive please. Thanks!

Ok. things are starting to appear...thanks @RandyHayes !

I'm not exactly sure how I got what I got but it is good to see contacts data starting to show. I will take it form here and work on it .

    Again, thank you!!!

Yes, you are on the right track.  The only thing left is (since you added a Vertical Gallery with a template and now a blank gallery), just go into one  of the Labels in that Gallery and set the Text to ThisItem.displayName (like the Title label).

I tried to cleanup the listing a bit by deleting the image, the assistant's name, etc. Each time I delete an element, the contact name disappears. I tried and tried and tried to figure it all out and then decided to delete the app in an effort to start all over again -- step-by-step from what I learned.

Now I am back to square one. I cannot get any data to pull from the contacts table.

Is there any sort of youtube tutorial that anyone is aware of that demonstrates, step-by-step, how to pull a list of all contacts from the Office 365 Outlook cloud contacts database?

    Thank you!
