Trigger Flow through Portal and pass in a value

Hello,

 

I am looking for some help triggering a flow through a button in the portal. When the button is clicked, I would like to bring in a variable from that page (registration id) and push it into the flow. Any tips or guidance is appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi @KellyMcLaren 

    Portal direct flow support is not yet available. What you can do is trigger Power Automate "Dataverse" flow

    Probably your case is when a row is added or modified or deleted. Your registration id is already available in dataverse so you can utilise that and build your flow.

    Hi @KellyMcLaren ,

    As @ragavanrajan  mentioned, this option is not supported as of now but there are 2 options, either

    A) trigger the flow from dataverse as Ragavan suggested or

    B) you can use a button on the page that when clicked you can call dataverse directly using the new portal web api to update dataverse and return values
