filter a collection that has a Lookup column

I have 2 sharepoint list

1. workers (WorkerName,SupervisorName) - SupervisorName is lookup column which looks up Supervisor List

2.Supervisor (SupervisorName)

Now, I have a dropdownbox that  I bind with Supervisor list. I have another listbox under dropdown where I want to show all workers name based on supervisor name selected on dropdownbox

I know, it is a simple solution but stuck with collection. I created a collection named workercollection where supervisorname shows as another nested collection. Not sure how to filter/lookup to show data on list box.

    Hi @ELIASP ,

Do you want to filter WorkerName based on the selection of SupervisorName?

Actually, using collection will not make this issue complex. As you will not change the data structure when you save it to collection.

Using what formula is decided by the data structure, not what data source.

Could you tell me whether the lookup column allows multiple value?

    Try this:

    1)drop down's Items:

    Supervisor

    2)list box's Items:

    (for single value)

    Filter(workercollection,SupervisorName.Value=Dropdown1.Selected.SupervisorName)

     (for allowing multiple value)

    Filter(workercollection,Dropdown1.Selected.SupervisorName in SupervisorName.Value)

    Best regards,

Thanks for your reply. Yes, lookup column in SharePoint doesn't allow multiple values. Supervisors name is lookup column on WORKERS list. Multiple workers may have same supervisor but multiple supervisors are not allowed for same worker in my situation.

In PowerApps, I want to populate multiple workers name therefore based on selected supervisor name on Dropdown list. I tried with your formula

    Filter(workercollection,Dropdown1.Selected.SupervisorName in SupervisorName.Value)

but don't know why it is not working.  I took a gallary instead of listbox and able to show the list of workers there now.

I have a form on the same screen where few more fields value will be saved in another SharePoint list along with selected supervisor and selected workername.
