Hi,

How are you all ? Those of you in the UK, good luck with the heat today !

I am having problems with flow. Effectively what it does is, takes the contents of a form, through some various conditions then sends an approval email to me (hardcoded at the moment for testing). I receive the email (using the mail connector, mail comes from maccount@microsoft.com), I click approve and this is where I get the issue.

I don't get a failure in the flow, the flow just stays in a running state and doesn't complete.

I have recreated the approval part of the workflow. I can't see what the issue is.

As I have been typing this, I have just tried it again and it is working, I really don't understand what was going on there ! This is a major business process that I am trying to automate, and I am not sure why it didn't work yesterday and then today it is 😞 approval workflow.JPG

Anyone, any ideas ? It's driving me crackers !

Hi @Anonymous. when it wasn't working yesterday there might might have been a temporary glitch with a connector or your network. I can't see anything obviously wrong in your flow and it's working today so I wouldn't stress about why yesterday it appeared to just keep running. Of course you alsways have to click the Submit button in the approval email as well as just selecting the decision but I'm sure you did that.

Thanks Rob, just a tricky one to sell back to the business if there are problems like that.

Where it's an important business process we have several people as owners and get them to test it several times from different locations (in the office or remote via VPN), different times of day etc.
