Populate Form from gallery linked to another sharepoint list

Hi All,

I have Two SharePoint lists, one attached to the blank form, and another with a list of names and staff ID's from another.

When the gallery populates with these names and staff numbers I want to be able to select with the arrow their name to populate in the 'name' card of the form, and staff number to populate in 'staff number' card.

(Blue rectangle protecting data as is ontop of populated gallery)

@JR24 - sounds you want to set up a basic connection between the selected item in your Gallery Control to your Edit Form Control.

Given your Gallery and your Edit Form are on the same screen, as a basic example, apply the below to the Item property of your Edit Form:

Gallery_A320.Selected

I do not quite understand why you need two SharePoint Lists. But regardless, you will need to ensure the DataSource property of your Edit Form is the same as the data source used in the Items property of the Gallery (in this case, the SharePoint list with the Names and Staff IDs)

@Amik Thank you so much! You made me realise that I didn't need multiple sharpeoint lists. I think I was trying to over complicate it.
