Hello,
Would someone be able to clarify how the connectors column is aggregated in the connectors report? The app on the first line below has only 5 connectors within. Is this a total of all connector calls for all app sessions? Any clarification is appreciated, I want to make sure we don't hit any limits or if we have something configured incorrectly. I could not find a clear explanation here - Administrator analytics and reports for Microsoft Power Apps - Power Platform | Microsoft Learn
Thanks!
Hello, @tyc3084, so for the app sessions count, is the number of times users run the app. The connectors count is the number of time connector were fired in the app. e.g. APP A has a Dataverse table >> this mean a Dataverse connector. every time you use a Lookup, a search, filter, patch (etc) functions, this connector is being used and it will count toward this number you see in the report. Note that this report only has the data for the last 28 days.

Thank you for your reply, however in our testing we found that when we use the app and the filters, lookups etc in the app, it is not increasing the connector count. In fact the count in my screenshot for the top app has not changed in months but the apps are used daily by 300 users. We did find that adding and removing connectors as well as sharing will increase the count. We also found that even after connectors have been removed from the app, the connecter count column does not decrease and in fact the removed connector still shows in the app details. I'm still not getting a clear picture on how this column is measured and considering engaging with Microsoft.
Coudl that column actually represent the number of connections created for the app? When you publish an app to users and the launch it for the first time, for connectors like SharePoint, Dataverse etc. there will be a personal connection created when the user gives the app the permission to use their own credentials in the connection consent dialog. Such connections aren't automatically removed even when the user is not using the app. Or when the connection breaks if the token expires. That would explain why numbers in the report keep growing.
