Hello- I have built an app where we need users to update only 3 fields, the rest are not editable to them and they are not adding or deleting any records. I have built the button to collect the changes from the row and have created the Save Updates button to patch the items to a collection. All of this is working fine and the SharePoint list is updating, the issue is that only one of the fields is keeping the updated data in the gallery view so to the end user it appears as if their updates were not fully completed.
Button that is not visible to user to collect updates on Select:
If(
IsBlank(
LookUp(
GridUpdates,
ID = ThisItem.ID
)
),
Collect(
GridUpdates,
ThisItem
)
);
UpdateIf(
GridUpdates,
ID = ThisItem.ID,
{
'Meeting Held?': MtgHeld_1.Value,
'Meeting Date': MtgDate_1.SelectedDate,
'Meeting With': MeetingWith_1.Text
}
)
Save Updates Button to patch the data on Select:
Patch(
Offices2,
ShowColumns(
GridUpdates,
"MeetingHeld_x003f_",
"field_9",
"field_10",
"ID"
)
);
Notify(
"Updates Saved Successfully",
NotificationType.Success,
3000
);
Clear(GridUpdates);
The gallery has multiple filter options for the users to filter for their updates:
If(
//No filter
RMdrop.Selected.Value = "All" And DMdrop.Selected.Value = "All" And Officedrop.Selected.Value = "All" And LOCdrop.Selected.Value = "All",
Offices2,
//DM Filter
DMdrop.Selected.Value <> "All" And RMdrop.Selected.Value = "All" And Officedrop.Selected.Value = "All" And LOCdrop.Selected.Value = "All",
Filter(
Offices2,
DM = DMdrop.Selected.Value
),
//RM Filter
DMdrop.Selected.Value = "All" And RMdrop.Selected.Value <> "All" And Officedrop.Selected.Value = "All" And LOCdrop.Selected.Value = "All",
Filter(
Offices2,
RM = RMdrop.Selected.Value
),
//LOC filter
DMdrop.Selected.Value = "All" And RMdrop.Selected.Value = "All" And Officedrop.Selected.Value = "All" And LOCdrop.Selected.Value <> "All",
Filter(
Offices2,
LOC = LOCdrop.Selected.Value
),
//Office Filter
DMdrop.Selected.Value = "All" And RMdrop.Selected.Value = "All" And Officedrop.Selected.Value <> "All" And LOCdrop.Selected.Value = "Alll",
Filter(
Offices2,
Office = Officedrop.Selected.Value
)
)
