Hello,

I am trying to build a photo gallery that you can view the actual image and select the image and delete.

Currently I have a SP attachment field that houses the images. I use a collection to grab all the images, and then I use a gallery to display the attachments as actual images from the collection. Now when an image is deleted from the gallery, I have it tied back to that attachment control field. The problem is once the image is delete, it completely disappears from the attachment control. The only way I can get SharePoint to register a deleted attachment is if the attachment control has this crossed out function on the attachment piece (picture below). It will not register a delete if the item is just wiped out of the box.
