How do I send a copy of a flow template with a dummy email address in?

I must be missing something simple here but I can't find the answer so far..........

I have a flow template I want to share with a small selection of my users, and it uses Send An Email V2, where the users will typically customise it by putting an external email address in the TO field.   Currently, the users needing this flow create their own equivalent flow under my instruction so this template will just make things easier for them and me.   But I've hit a snag..........

1. If I leave the TO field blank, the flow refuses to save with the error "Definition contains invalid parameters"

2. If I put something in the TO field that isn't a valid address, the same happens as expected

3. If I put an email address in, it will of course save, but if I use Send A Copy, it refuses to do that with the error "Flow contains one or more email addresses. Remove any personal content from flow before sending copy".

4. If I use a dummy "contoso" domain email address that Power Automate ought to recognise isn't a real one, it still refuses to Send a Copy.  Ditto if a use the "example" domain address often used in material on the net.

5. If I initialise a variable string, and put that in the TO field with no initial value set, it will save, but the run will then fail - which will also stop me doing a Send A Copy!  If I set the initial value of the variable string to an email address to get the flow to actually run, it still stops the Send A Copy the same as point 3.

Any ideas appreciated!

I think I might have cracked it but surely there must be a better way.   Define two variables and split a real address (in this case a gmail test account of mine) up into two, and put both the variables in the TO field.  This allows the flow to run correctly, and because it is split in two, it doesn't seem to be detected in the checks Send a Copy does.  My users will simply clear the TO field in Send an Email V2 and put in their choice of address.
